Our Story

Established in the winter of 2018, Bhojpur Organic Foods producer company is a Farmer owned Company with 127 Members. Located in the village Hematpur of District Bhojpur, we have a total of 75 hectares of farmland totally devoted to organic farming. As a community, We help our farmers in all the steps of production. From seeds to the marketing of finished products. We are proud of the fact we ensure strict quality control. Having control over the entire value chain helps us to ensure that all the products and practices used in farming are organic and no pesticides or fertilizer have been used. We do not procure any product from outside. Be it the seeds or biofertilizers, we use our own product. We do not trust the organic inputs of the market hence we like to prepare our own inputs from the raw materials. We are proud of the fact that our consumers do not buy products from other vendors once they taste our products.

 

On the Farm, we organize training programs in collaboration with Bihar State Seed and Organic Certification Agency (BSSOCA) to train our farmers about the latest techniques of Organic farming. We are mentored by Mr. Bankatesh Narayan Singh. He is a renowned figure in the world of the organic farming world. His book (Jaivik kheti ke nukhse) has all the principles and guidelines of organic farming. Mr. Bankatesh trains our farmers from time to time. We use a WhatsApp group for our farmers and we regularly update our farmers about the news of the organic farming world.

 

We look for NON-GMO organic seeds across India to produce the native Indian seeds which are being forgotten. Products such as Bansi Wheat and Govingbhog Rice are some of the renowned names of breeds that have amazing health benefits. 

 

Currently, we operate in Patna, Bihar. We provide home delivery to a closed group of members in the City of Patna. We plan to expand our delivery services to other cities soon. Our organic products include the Iconic Superfood from Bihar, Sattu. Please Click Below for more details.
